Beautiful handcrafted Shadowbox in an 11 x 17 frame. The Interior is designed with African fabric. The figurine encased in the shadowbox is named “Abla”, which means “full figured”. This young lady is from Mauritania, the land of one million poets. Buxom women are revered in Mauritania and the saying there is, “The glory of man is measured by the fatness of his wife.” Abla stands proud to represent the beauty of Mauritania and its people.
